After a recap of Jennifer and Derek’s night and some pertinent filler, we find out that they are in the finals. Of course, that was the biggest gimme, so it’s good we got it out of the way. Then we are subjected to Brooke’s 8,751st useless backstage interview.
Ah, the long-awaited Design-A-Dance, which is a jive set at a 50’s drive in, performed to Billy Joel’s “Still Rock and Roll to Me”. Cheryl and Derek are the pros, and there’s even a full on lip lock. Scandalous!
Commercials. Man, I really love that Macy’s commercial with all the pop culture references to America’s most well-known department store. I’m a sucker for that kind of nostalgia.
DWTS is the only reality show I watch, and it’s now been ruined by politics. I’m no fan of Brandy’s, but she’s clearly better than Bristol.
Derek’s expression after the final announcement said it all. WTH?!
I want Kyle to win, but I’m really scared that Bristol just might win that mirrorball trophy.
I have never watched this show until this season. And this season I have watched it for one reason only – to watch Bristol get voted off. It has become clear that insanity has grabbed ahold of this nation where a political group has decided to seize control of a freaking dance show to prove their ‘power’. I have begun to fear that she will actually win.
