Tom points out Christian Slater and the hot chick who stars with him on The Forgotten. Gotta love network synergy. So, Queen Latifah is back and she’s singing “Ease on Down the Road”, of all things. Instead of any DWTS dancers, she’s got her own tall, lanky dudes dancing, and the Queen herself works the floor in patent leather high tops and a sparkly red and silver striped top. Christian Slater digs it. Queen even talks to the crowd a bit as her dancers groove it out. She’s bucking for a guest hosting gig, isn’t she? By the way, during this number, a “breaking news alert” crawled across my screen to tell viewers that the Detroit Tigers had just lost to the Minnesota Twins and ended their hopes of making the playoffs. Now, really, WXYZ-TV, do you think anyone who gives a crap about that game would be watching this instead? Seriously?
