Maurice and Cheryl are doing the Jive. Tom tells us they did a “restricted” rumba last week. Cheryl was frustrated last week, and it showed in rehearsal. She takes Maurice to the park to practice his agility on the tire drill, on which he tumbles in the background as she talks to the camera. (Yeah, ha ha until he breaks a hip on this jinxed season!) and they jump rope as well. As the dance begins with the two of them on the stage, Maurice jumps over Cheryl on to the dance floor. And in case we don’t get that they are dancing to “Rock Around the Clock”, actual clocks are sewn onto their costumes as a visual clue.
