Oooh, the cast of the West Side Story revival is doing “America”, one of the best songs in a phenomenal show. All I know that’s different about this revival is that they are having the Puerto Rican characters speak Spanish where it would make sense in the story. I’d love to see it. I still remember when I first saw the movie in 8th grade choir class. Both the singing and dancing here are excellent, and the woman playing Anita looks like she will do Chita Rivera proud. Damn, I love good musical theater.
