Now Lionel Richie is performing, accompanied by Alec & Edyta. He’s singing a new song called “Good Morning”. His voice sounds strange at first, but he settles in. Alec and Edyta are all in white, and are perfect together, because they’re married. The lyrics of this song sound like he totally could have written them for his granddaughter, who is insanely cute for a child who looks exactly like Joel Madden. Tom tells us Lionel will be back. Fingers crossed he brings out the bust from the “Hello” video.
We recap the leaderboard. Lacey threatens to barefoot all over Len’s face. Wow, she’s hostile! Tom mocks Sam’s reading of the phrase “no particular order”. Ha! Maurice and Cheryl are the first ones safe. Edyta still manages to looks ill, even though she’s only been with Cody for one week. Going to break, we are teased about some dance involving magic, but after that “Dancing through the Decades” things was so underwhelming, I’m not falling for anything!
