Holy Crap! The Smoke Monster has attached himself to Brooke Burke’s shoulder and he won’t let go! Talk about corporate synergy!
Before we head to break, we get a Dance Center commercial in the Sportscenter commercial mold, this time with Kenny and Jerry walking through an empty ballroom, telling Nicole not to stay all night…pan over to Nicole scrubbing the dance floor, ala Cinderella. It’s actually quite cute.
So, now we’re having some sort of College Dance Championship that involves UC San Diego and Purdue’s Ballroom Dance Teams. My only image of college dance teams involves a potential step contest that I expect Dwayne Wayne to participate in, so I’m temporarily at a loss. That’s being preceded by a song from Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3, which Brooke pronounces as “Disney Pix-er’s”. Ooops. It’s the Gipsy Kings playing Randy Newman’s “You Got a Friend in Me”, which is sort of… weird, quite honestly. They are accompanied by a paso that Tony and Cheryl choreographed and are dancing to, along with Dmitry and some other chick….wait a tick…that’s Kym?! Her hair threw me big time.
