Maurice and Cheryl are next. This week, one of their dances is a Paso Doble. Lucky for him, they can use tapes from that awesome team dance last week to improve on his mistakes. He’s also got to do the Quickstep, which they both think should be good for a sprinter, but which Maurice swears is a little different than running by yourself on a track. He hopes he can pull it off!
Everybody has had these fun little endings so far…theirs is Cheryl doing a cartwheel. All in all, an enjoyable, sort of by-the-numbers dance. Carrie Ann loved it, commenting on Maurice’s posture ad calling him “refined”. Len loved the footwork. Bruno says Maurice normally deflates halfway through ballroom dances, but this week, he did the whole routine with “aplomb” , which he enunciates to a silly degree. Straight 8s for a 24. Maurice says he had no advantage with the quickstep, again, some more. He’s so cute.
