Lance and Lacey plan to work on his technical skills. He says they just wanted to stand out at the beginning, but now they have to put in the traditional steps and avoid gimmicks. Lance is apparently now obsessed with winning the mirrorball. Their Foxtrot is sweet and simple, even though Lance is wearing a sparkly tux, red bowtie and a fauxhawk. Len says it’s a different Lance and Lacey. He says it was good overall, but thinks the footwork was “dodgy”. (Tom: “For him, that’s gushing!”) Bruno calls it classic, but says he retained his individuality. Carrie Ann agrees, saying Lance was a “bright light” and fun to watch. Lance reiterates how important it is to impress the judges. They get 9s from Carrie Ann and Bruno and an 8 from Len for a 26. Tom says an 8 from Len is like an 11 from Michael Flatley.
