Fixing “Heroes” – or – Hey NBC, Give Me a Job!

We meet a series of new, unrelated characters. One by one, their powers manifest. These should be powers we haven’t seen on Heroes before. Somebody whose body can take on the properties of whatever they touch. Another who generates blasts of wind. A character who can become two dimensional. Somebody with stretching powers. One who can generate both light and darkness. And there’s Nikki and Tracy’s previously mentioned third sister, Barbara. She doesn’t have a power yet, but Bennet knows it’s only a matter of time, so he tries to prepare her. As each of them discovers their powers, Bennet and the heroic Sylar from the end of Season Four visit them, and offer to teach them how to control their powers and do some good.
