Fixing “Heroes” – or – Hey NBC, Give Me a Job!

It wasn’t always this way, you know. In its first season, Heroes was a legitimate pop culture phenomenon. People called it “the new Lost”, which seems hilarious in retrospect. At one point, there were plans for a spinoff series to fill the break between new episodes. And somehow, it fell into irrelevance.
