Fixing “Heroes” – or – Hey NBC, Give Me a Job!

And the characters suffered. Promising fan-favorites would be killed without warning to emphasize just how badass the new villain was. Look at Pa Petrelli killing Adam Monroe in Season Three for a good example. Anybody who didn’t appear in the first season was pretty much guaranteed to die at the end of their arc, so we tried not to get too attached. And so the thrilling discovery of the early episodes was replaced by the same old thing.
