Hiro and Ando reprise their scene once again, only with Hiro looking more bedraggled than ever. This time he references the jumper, Tadashi, and Ando already knows about his copy shenanigans. So that’s another fail for Hiro. This dude is obsessed with sitting on copy machines! Hiro indicates that he’s tried to save him “many, many times”. In fact, he says he’s done it forty-seven times, which I am taking as a direct should out to JJ Abrams. Yay! But this time, Hiro talks the guy down – clearly he hates his job if he’s working so hard to get fired, so he should find something he doesn’t hate. Inspired, Hiro decides to tell his sister the truth. We watch their scene through the window, and only zoom in again when they’re hugging. Hiro tearfully apologizes, and then jerks back, clutching his head. Then he disappears.
