Heroes 4-5 “Tabula Rasa”

The shotgun kid tells Bennet that he accidentally killed his parents with his touch. Bennet says it’s not fair that he had to suffer through this, and he tells him that he’s not really a killer. And then, in the stupidest possible use of his powers in this situation, Peter teleports right in front of the gun and then freezes time. So, instead of showing up behind the kid and disarming him, he actually teleports into the path of a bullet. Sure enough, Peter notices that the bullet is already through him, leaving a trail of time-frozen blood in its wake. Time goes back to normal as Peter hits the floor. Well, if you can’t use teleportation and the ability to freeze time to get a gun away from a teenager, you deserve what you get. Bennet tells Jeremy (the shotgun kid) to heal Peter. It takes some encouragement, but Jeremy finally reaches down and fixes Peter with his touch.
