Sheriff Deadman won’t give Bennet and Tracy access to Jeremy. He is then surprised to find that their prisoner is gone. A couple of deputies have taken him out back for some frontier justice. The deputy offers to let the kid who kills people with his touch to “take his best shot”. He doesn’t do anything, so they tie a chain around his feet, tie the other end to the bumper of the General Lee, and start driving.
