I just realized that the end of “Ab Aeterno” put us exactly halfway through the final season. We’re really coming to the end here, as hard as it is to believe. And they seem determined to break our hearts as often as possible on the way. Benry and Richard “Batmanuel” Alpert managed to bring up tears, and I’m legitimately afraid of what will happen to Sun and Jin, let alone Penny and Desmond. At this point, I’m going to consider it a victory if even one character gets a happy ending.
