LOST: Pre-Game for “The Package”

Black Rock Moan – In “The Constant”, Widmore bought a journal from the Black Rock at an auction in 1996. We were told that the contents were unknown to anybody outside the seller’s family, and in this case, the seller was one Tovard Hanso.

The auctioneer gave some background on the Black Rock, specifically that it set sail from Portsmouth in 1845 on a trading mission with Siam and was lost at sea. The journal was recovered seven years later.
