LOST: Pre-Game for “The Package”

Before we really get into the Black Rock history, I want to bring up a point that I mentioned last season. Still, it’s one of my favorite Lost Easter Eggs, and I think it’s worth bringing up as we get to the end. There’s a temporary city that springs up around Burning Man – it exists until the festival is over, then it’s gone. They call it Black Rock. As we know, the Island moves through space (and sometimes time), so that it can be there one day and gone the next. The first time they mentioned the phrase “Black Rock”? Episode Two. Did they know from the very beginning that at some point the Island was going to be disappearing and reappearing? Well, they hinted at it…
