LOST Pre-Game: “The Substitute”

You know, when the second episode of Lost aired for the first time, I watched it in the hospital. I had broken my leg in four places, and was recovering from surgery. At the time, I thought I was high from morphine, because there’s no way that there were polar bears on that Island. Ah, we were so young and innocent then. Still, it’s a weird point of pride for me that I feel like I can tie my own injury into what would become a recurring theme.
