LOST Pre-Game: “The Substitute”

Hurley’s been seeing dead people for a couple of seasons now. But he also has imaginary friends. It hasn’t been clear whether he really saw Charlie and Ana Lucia and the rest, or whether they were imaginary, like his bald friend Dave. That’s always something you have to ask when a character talks to somebody who isn’t there. Baltar on Battlestar Galactica had an imaginary friend. Henchman 21 on The Venture Bros. seems to be talking to a ghost, but it’s not definitive. If Hurley could definitely talk to Jacob, there’s no reason he wasn’t talking to the rest.
