LOST Revisited: 6-13 “The Last Recruit”

In Timeline X, Kate’s at the police station, and Sawyer decides to find out what her deal is. (And somewhere, the voices of a thousand Kate/Sawyer ‘shippers go up in protest when their meeting doesn’t cause them both to see the other world.) We get another answer to a nagging question – why did Sawyer X, a cop, help the handcuffed woman get away? Kate nails it – he didn’t want anybody to know that he’d been to Australia. You know what? That’s a good answer. Miles interrupts their conversation with news of a multiple homicide, which would be Sayid’s shoot-out in the kitchen. And in a turnabout from the first season, we’ve got Sawyer heading off to bust Sayid. (Though over a multiple murder rather than a missing inhaler.)
