LOST Revisited: 6-13 “The Last Recruit”

We’re back in Timeline X, with Jack and David. Jack gets a call from David’s mysterious mother, and since we don’t even hear her voice, I have to assume she’s somebody we know and they’re just teasing it out some more. Jack and his son are headed to the lawyer for the reading of Christian’s will, and just as I’m thinking, “Hey, that lobby looks familiar”, it turns out that Ilana is handling the reading. I am ashamed of how long it took me to put that together. And that’s why she was so interested in Claire Littleton – she’s named in Christian’s will. We get another awkward sibling meeting, but then Jack’s answering service calls – he’s needed in surgery. And I think you can guess what surgery that would be. That’s pretty much what spunkybuddy Amy predicted last week, so she’s getting some bonus points for that.
