LOST Revisited: 6-13 “The Last Recruit”

We come to the end now – Jack makes it back to the Island, but Look-a-Locke is waiting for him. The other Lostaways make it to Hydra Island, where Island Tina Fey and a group of gunmen are waiting. The majority of our cast is being held at gunpoint right now. Island Tina Fey radios Widmore, and as they’re sorting it out, the moment that reduces me to tears finally comes. Jin and Sun are reunited! You guys, we’ve been waiting so long for this moment. In our timeline, they’ve been separated since the middle of Season Four, and we’ve seen them kept apart by death, the vagaries of time travel, kidnapping, and just about anything else that can keep people apart. I love how they don’t overplay it – it’s executed simply and beautifully, and it’s the moment we’ve waited years for.
