LOST Revisited: 6-4 “The Substitute” (Feb 17)
When Sawyer refers to it as being his house, the Lockelganger says that it really isn’t. He lived there for a few years, but it wasn’t his house. Sawyer can tell it isn’t Locke, and he says it’s because this guy isn’t afraid. I’m not sure that I quite agree with his assessment that Locke was always scared, and had to pretend not to be, but it’s an interesting interpretation. Look-a-Locke owns up to it, but says that he can answer “the most important question in the world” and tell Sawyer why he’s really on the Island. You know, we’ve heard variations on that a bunch of times, and it never pans out. This will not be one of those times.
