LOST Revisited: 6-4 “The Substitute” (Feb 17)

OK. In our timeline, Helen was long gone by the time Locke signed up for his walkabout. She was gone before Anthony Cooper tossed Locke out a window. In Timeline X, they either never split up, or they got back together. Even better, the fact that Locke’s dad made the short list means that he’s in Locke’s life. It means he’s not the reason that they broke up, and it means he isn’t the reason that Locke’s in a wheelchair. Those are some pretty serious divergences right there.
