LOST Revisited: 6-5 “The Lighthouse”

In Timeline X, David has a copy of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. This book used to come up a lot – it’s one of the many books they’ve referenced that are about mysterious lands that can’t be accessed through conventional means. Plus, the underwater station was called “The Looking Glass”. Also, there are rabbits in it. They love rabbits over here. They also love the Red Sox, which also comes up in this scene. The point of this scene though is that David and Jack have a lousy relationship. Which is surprising, because Jack is so good at not driving away people who are close to him, right? It’s also made clear that Jack and his mystery wife are no longer together.
