LOST Revisited: 6-5 “The Lighthouse”

Hurley looks around the temple, consulting the instructions that he wrote on his arm. And man, the sloppy handwriting of the characters on this show is just killing me this week. Dogen catches him, but Jacob’s ghost instructs Hurley to play the “I’m a candidate” card. Remember, Richard “Batmanuel” Alpert didn’t seem to know what that means, but Dogen does. That’s enough for Dogen, because he leaves Hurley alone. However, Jacob insists that Hurley bring Jack with him, and I love that Hurley would rather go alone than try to convince Jack to do anything. He’s run his head into that particular wall more than a few times.
