LOST Revisited: 6-6 “Sundown”

Back in the Temple, Sayid returns with his message. Jacob is dead, and there’s a man who will take them away from the Island forever. They have until sundown to join him or die. That does not sound good. Also, his message indicates that the Temple Dwellers didn’t have the option of leaving the Island. Did they know that Benry had a sub? We know that Benry, Richard, Tom, and possibly others all left the Island from time to time. Widmore left the Island so often that Jacob made it permanent. It definitely seems like the Temple Dwellers were held to a different standard, though.
