LOST Revisited: 6-6 “Sundown”

As our Sayid packs up, Miles tells him that Dogen and company were as surprised as anybody when he came back to life. He also adds the detail that he’d been dead for two hours. I didn’t realize it had been that long. Before Sayid can process that, Claire walks right into the temple, and demands that Dogen head out to see the Lockelganger. Dogen’s no fool, so he finds somebody that Smokey won’t kill. Once again, nobody wants to kill a candidate. He has Claire tossed into the hole, which turns out to be more literal than I’d expected, and brings Sayid back up to his now-trashed office.
