LOST Revisited: 6-6 “Sundown”

Dogen explains that their enemy was a man – now that Jacob is gone, he’s going to kill everybody on the Island. He gives Sayid what looks like a ceremonial blade and tells him that his enemy will appear to him as somebody he knows, somebody who is now dead. Dogen is very specific that Sayid has to plunge the dagger into him before he gets a chance to speak. It’s worth noting that Dogen describes him as “Evil incarnate”. It’s rare that they actually refer to somebody as evil, but Dogen is playing that card.
