With what looks to be a big game-changer of an episode right around the corner, it’s time to take a second look at last week’s episode and the exploits of the Oceanic Six. I thought about some things, some of you had great ideas. I’ve taken the liberty of rounding up my favorite theories and corralling them for you entertainment.
First off, in last week’s Pre-Game, I mentioned that it’s rare that Lost reuses first names, in support of the “Locke and Benry have the same mother” hypothesis. Well, Mr. Larry “Astronauts in Trouble” Young pointed out that I forgot a big one – Charlie Pace and Charles Widmore! On the plus side, he is the most famous person to ever tell me that I’m wrong, but I am embarrassed that I didn’t think of that one. I don’t think it hurts the brothers theory, though. And by the way, last week’s episode brought us another shared first name – Jack’s grandfather is named Ray, as was the doctor on the freighter.
