LOST Revisited: Pre-Game for “Sundown”

How Jack Met Your Mother – So, who’s David’s mother? It seems like the fact that we didn’t see her means that she’s somebody we know. She’s obviously not Kate X, since Jack bumped into her on the plane, so I think that leaves us with either the alternate versions of Juliet or Libby. Libby, however, has an ex-husband named David. True, that may not hold true of Libby X, but it is an unlikely name. (And it’s not like Jack and Libby had any kind of chemistry that points to the idea of an alternate-universe hookup, but it would be a good way to bring her back into the story.) And now that I think about it, David is old enough that Libby would have met Jack before she married Dave in the regular timeline. I totally talked myself out of crossing Libby off the list. You can tell that I don’t have time for first drafts, right?
