And remember, the Island moves. In fact, we know that it’s still moving, since the Oceanic Six had only a small window of time in which the Island would exist between LA and Guam. So here’s something to think about – Flight 815 in Timeline X experienced turbulence when it passed over where the Island should have been, and then we saw the remains underwater. That would indicate to me that the geographical location of the Island when the bomb went off was the same as its location the day Flight 815 crashed in the regular timeline. There are so many variables, and I can’t wrap my mind around them all, but I’m convinced that the divergence between our Timeline and Timeline X isn’t quite as easy as “bomb goes off / bomb doesn’t go off”.
