LOST Revisited: Pre-Game for “Sundown”

I talk about Schroedinger’s Cat a lot, largely because it’s the only thing in all of Science that I kind of understand. In case you haven’t heard me go on about in the past, it’s an illustration of Quantum Theory. There’s a cat in a closed box, and there’s also a radioactive isotope that may or may not degrade and kill the cat. So until you open the box, the cat exists in both states, alive and dead. It’s only by opening the box that you essentially force one of the possibilities out of existence. You wouldn’t think this comes up often when you write about TV, but you’d be wrong.
