LOST Revisited: Pre-Game for “Sundown”

The finale of The Sopranos is almost a literal evocation of this illustration, but Lost got into the act a couple of seasons ago. In Season Four, the doctor on the freighter died, But because of the weird time flux around the Island, his body washed up on shore while he was still alive on the boat. Like the cat, he existed in both states simultaneously. And now that I think about it, this establishes precedence for people to co-exist with themselves.
