Ladies and gentlemen, let’s hear it for Terry O’Quinn! We have a very strong pro-Locke bias in these parts, and this was an exceptionally strong performance from him. Everybody agrees that he rocks, right? OK, then.
We begin in what turns out to be a Dharma bunker. The guy who offered Jack his condolences last week (Cesar) is rooting around, and finds some files and a sawed-off shotgun. Those Dharma stations are good for armament, that’s for sure. The agent who was transporting Sayid, Ilana, pops in, and Cesar doesn’t want her to know that he has a gun. Lostaways of all kinds are notoriously bad about sharing their weapons, aren’t they? Ilana says they found a man wearing a suit in the water, and nobody remembers him from the plane. You know where we’re going with this, right?
That’s right, Locke’s alive, baby! And by the way, we get a quick look at the plane, which seems to be in one piece. Frank brought that thing down gently! Locke notes the two boats, which sure look like the ones we saw a couple of weeks back, and Ilana says that the pilot and some woman took the third boat. Well, looks like Frank made tracks.
