LOST Revisited: Season 6, Episode 3 – “What Kate Did”

Kate X goes back for Claire, still in the stolen cab. I love Claire’s reaction, because that really would just be nightmare fuel. Getting taken hostage is bad enough, but when your hostage taker actually tracks you down for round two, that’s pretty much a worst case scenario. Claire is understandably standoffish, but accepts the ride. She reveals that the prospective parents never arrived at the airport to meet her. You know what? The Universe wants her to raise Aaron. Remember, you can’t change destiny – you can only delay it. In this world, there is no Island. Many of the major players would seem to be dead, which would throw that destiny thing into disarray. But maybe the whole point is Aaron. Even in a world without the Island, Claire still needs to raise Aaron.
