LOST Revisited: Season 6, Episode 3 – “What Kate Did”

It’s our last trip to Timeline X this week. A Detective Rassmussen (who we’ve never seen before) visits Claire in the hospital to ask about her friend. We learn that Kate used the identity “Joan Hart”. She’s used that identity in a flashback before. So, you know how Melissa Joan Hart starred in Sabrina the Teenage Witch? Sabrina’s Aunt Zelda was played by Beth Broderick. Beth Broderick now plays Kate’s mother. Neat, right? Anyway, Claire covers for Kate until the cops leave. Once they’re gone, Claire asks Kate what she did, and Kate (jokingly?) claims to be innocent. We’re not done with these two – Aaron’s going to end up with an Aunt Kate in two different timelines.
