LOST Revisited: The Post-Mortem, Part 1
As we’ll see, they manage to clear up some serious bookkeeping on the DVD’s with the mini-episode, “The New Man in Charge”. If they can knock out that many answers with a Dr. Marvin Candle monologue, I think we don’t have to concern ourselves with some of the small points. The answers are what you think they are if you give it a few minutes. Lingering questions, like why Horace’s ghost was in a time loop, or how Smokey was trapped in the cabin, that doesn’t matter to the story. It’s like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction – it’s going to be fun to debate and come up with wild theories, but none of it makes a difference to the characters or the outcome.
