But hey, everybody’s free to disagree. That’s how opinions work, you know? For me, the series on the whole was an amazing achievement, with a finale that moved me. If you were expecting it to answer every plot point for six years, well, that wasn’t going to happen. Every long-running show leaves some loose ends, whether it’s The Shield, Gilmore Girls, or OZ. But Lost gave us a complete story. Anything left unanswered, well, I’d rather have a spirited discussion about where that Black Rock journal came from than watch Jacob explain that instead of more important things. “But, don’t you want me to tell you how you can save the Island? I only have a few minutes.” “Sorry, dude. I’ve got a lot of questions. You’re not going anywhere until you tell me where the food drops came from.” “But….”
