What has two thumbs and has spent hours trying to figure out why Sun stayed in the present? This guy! (I am pointing at myself with both thumbs. It’s really more of a visual joke.) This week, we’ve got some thoughts on the Others, ruminations on Sun, and the best new theory I’ve heard in a long time. Seriously, get ready to have your world rocked.
The introduction of Baby Ethan brought up an interesting question: Where the heck did some of the Others come from? Young Ethan survived the Purge to become an Other, after all. He would have been about 15 at the time, and somehow he managed to not die. Harper Stanhope, Goodwin’s wife, has ties to the Hanso Foundation, which would indicate that she was part of the Dharma Initiative, and she’s made reference to knowing Benry when he was younger. And then there’s Karl, Alex’s boyfriend. He would have been a toddler at the time of the Purge. It’s almost impossible that he was born on the Island, and he certainly wasn’t recruited later by Benry, so that means he must have been a Dharma Baby.
