Usually, I like to look at the flashbacks separately, but the present and future stories tie in pretty tightly by the end, so I’m going to try and stay in scenic order. Right off, they came roaring out of the gate with some fakeouts. Before we knew whose scene it was, we saw a close-up of orange juice, which is a recurring visual in Jin’s flashbacks. Then we see Jack, and he didn’t look crazy. Finally, it turns out to be Hurley’s flash-forward. Also, the news team covering the high-speed chase was Action News 8. Hello, magic numbers.
