“It only ends once. Anything before that is just progress.” – Jacob
I’m sure I don’t need to remind any of you that we are this close from the final season of Lost. Now, I’ve done my best to remain spoiler-free for the last eight months, so I don’t have any breaking news or shocking surprises for you. Sure, it was hard to miss those viral videos where Oceanic Air brags about their perfect safety record, or the interview where Mr. Cluck’s CEO Hugo Reyes talks about how he’s had nothing but good luck since he won the lottery. That certainly points to a different world than the one we know, and in Hurley’s case, indicates a change in events before he ever got on Flight 815. And then there are those “Last Supper”-style ads, and I was going to go nuts with the analysis until I discovered there were three different variations. I can’t really try to decipher the significance of somebody’s placement when it keeps changing. (Example: While Locke occupies Jesus’ seat in all three ads, Benry takes the Judas position in the first version, but the third version doesn’t have anybody at all in Judas’ place.)
