Do Locke and Benry have the same mother?

This is one that spunkybuddy Julie pointed out a while ago – Locke and Benry both have mothers named Emily. Locke’s mother skipped town after he was born, and we have no further information about her. The difference in ages between the two actresses matches up quite nicely with the difference between the cited birth dates of Locke and Benry. I love this theory, and while I feel like it isn’t crucial to the story, if it’s true, it lends their conflict a mythological significance. And besides, if they don’t definitively answer this question, we’re going to be debating it forever.
