Just so happens the Gosselins were already in Alaska filming for their own show (NO WAY!), so it just made perfect sense for them to meet the Palins for some good, old fashioned camping. This is bear country, so Sarah took the trip as an opportunity to pick up a new firearm. She equates the gun shop to a barbershop.
But before the Gosselins arrive, the whole Palin clan goes hiking on a trail called The Butte. Well, you can’t fault them for being couch potatoes, at least. I’d love to be that outdoorsy. And she’s right, the view is amazing. Sarah even gets in a joke about being able to see Russia from there, har har.
