Archer – The season finale had Archer finding love with a sexy former KGB agent. And you can tell it was love, because he gave up alcohol for her (except for how he kept drinking to avoid a “cumulative hangover”). But since the KGB didn’t want to look stupid for losing a defector, they revised Katya’s personnel file to show that she was tasked to infiltrate ISIS. She and Archer went on the run, with the KGB, ISIS, and Archer’s nemesis Barry (now a cyborg) in hot pursuit. It was another hilarious episode, including a great running gag about Krieger’s relationship with a hologram. Our favorite joke might have been Archer finding out that his mother pays butler Woodhouse’s salary, and Archer didn’t know that anybody paid him. “I thought you were a… I know ‘slave’ isn’t the right word…”. And we’re not spoiling anything, but the season ended on a surprisingly emotional note. The whole season was great – Archer turned out to have some depth, but somehow managed to get even funnier and meaner. But we have to wait until next year for new episodes? Dukes!
