The Office – This episode brought us “Michael’s Last Dundies”. And this year, he brought new manager Deangelo Vickers along for the annual award ceremony. But unlike Michael, Deangelo has no interest in putting on a show. In fact, he’s completely awkward when he tries to be entertaining. It turns out, Will Ferrell is very funny when he’s playing somebody who is trying unsuccessfully to be funny. We would be happy just watching Ferrell and Steve Carell give each other pep talks every week. We also loved Erin breaking up with Gabe while accepting her Dundie, and then Gabe taking the stage to respond. And Toby’s win for “Extreme Repulsiveness” was wonderfully mean and also brought us an update on the status of the Scranton Strangler. And granted, the Dunder Mifflin staff performing a song for Michael might have been a little on the cheesy side, but it was also the exact thing that would mean the world to Michael. We expect to be absolute wrecks at the end of Michael’s last episode next week. We will probably cry. Don’t judge us.
