So what made us happy on the best TV shows on TV this week?
Fringe – We’re going to have to come clean here. And by ‘we’, we mean EJ. While I’ve been watching Fringe all along, I’ve never really connected with it. At one point, I was ridiculously excited about the show – J.J. Abrams doing a series about super-science? That sounds like an ideal television show! Unfortunately, the first season really seemed like an average at best X-Files knockoff (albeit one buoyed by the awesome John Noble as Walter Bishop), and it drifted into background viewing. By the time it started getting good, I was so far behind on the mythology that none of it meant anything to me.
