And while the scenes with a desperate Peter seeking Olivia were great, it was Walter’s more quiet despair at the possibility of losing his longtime friend that was really affecting.  Of course, the real world scenes where Broyles (the great Lance Reddick) accidentally got some LSD in his system and subsequently went a little nuts were hilarious.  Except for his dark prophecies of course.  And the ending was such a great gut-punch that the episode actually closed with a variation on the Lost musical sting.  I’m going to spend the summer re-watching Seasons Two and Three and getting immersed in the mythology, because Fringe went and got awesome when I wasn’t paying attention.  So I’m going to have to thank Larry Young for once again knowing more than I do.
