The Killing – One phrase we rarely get to use around here is “based on the hit Danish series”, but that actually 
applies to AMC’s The Killing. The American version, which is four episodes in (and we’re very sorry we waited this long to catch up) focuses on the Seattle detectives tasked with solving the murder of high-schooler Rosie Larsen. The lead investigator, Sarah Linden, was supposed to leave for a new job in San Francisco that day, and when Rosie came up missing, she stayed to wrap up the case with her scheduled replacement, Stephen Holder, serving as her partner.
