Hey, Peggy’s boyfriend thinks she’s a virgin! And why is he under that misapprehension? Well, because that’s what she tells him. She’s reinventing herself, Don Draper-style. The Peggy who slept with Pete Campbell (and had a baby!), the Peggy who went through last season’s casual sex phase – that Peggy was Dick Whitman. The only problem is, she’s leaving too many witnesses. I don’t think she can maintain the fiction in a long-term relationship. At some point, this guy’s going to meet her family and somebody will say the wrong thing.
